What an honor... can you think of any better Holiday Gift than to know that one of your fellow ProAdvisors thought enough of you to nominate you for the 2026 Top 100 ProAdvisors!
But being nominated is only half way through having yourself considered for Top 100 recognition. You must still complete your 'official application' which serves as the assessment tool used to measure your rankings in the various standards making up the awards including, 'Professional Stature,' 'Practice Performance,' 'Training,' 'Certifications,' 'Categorical Characteristics' and 'App Engagement.'
While criteria may vary slightly based on the specific award categories, for the most part the categorical ranking factors simply stress one of these standard areas to a greater extent than other areas. For example, categories related to apps and 3rd party software (QBO App-ology, or QBD 3P-integrations) stress 'App Engagement.'
Another example would be the 'core product' categories (QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Online-Advanced/Intuit Enterprise Suite, and QuickBooks Desktop including Desktop Enterprise) which stress various measures within the Categorical Characteristics applicable to the QuickBooks version(s) you work with. The excerpt (shown below) from the 2026 Award Standards for the QuickBooks Online category specify the various measurement factors applied for ranking in this category. QBO-Adv/Intuit Enterprise Suite, and QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise have their own distinct (but similarly structured) characteristics.

You shouldn't let the volume of these characteristics scare you if you've never gone through the awards process before. Thousands of ProAdvisors have completed the application forms over the years, and more than a thousand have found themselves in the Top 100 at least once over that same period.
You can do the same, but only if you take the next step and accept your fellow ProAdvisor's nomination by completing your own application.
And maybe you too know of a deserving ProAdvisor you could nominate... in a 'pass it on' approach to the Awards.
If you' forgotten what you did with (or lost or trashed) that 'Congratulatory' email you when sent by Insightful Accountant when your friend nominated you, that's OK because you can use the link below to go the Awards Portal and then to the 2026 Awards Application form.
You can also use the same link to 'Nominate' another ProAdvisor who you feel should have an opportunity to be part of the process.

About Insightful Accountant’s Top Advisor Awards
Since its inception, Insightful Accountant has been the awarding entity and administrator for the ProAdvisor Awards Program, which recognizes the best QuickBooks ProAdvisors worldwide. With the 2026 incorporation of the Top Tax Advisors (who are not required to be ProAdvisors) into the overall awards program, the program is now referred to as the “Top Advisor Awards” since not all recipients may hold the title of ProAdvisor.
Applicants for these prestigious programs are ranked based on their performance across various criteria, measuring everything from QuickBooks knowledge to utilizing the best tools & partner apps within the QuickBooks ecosystem that contribute to solid practice growth. Tax Advisors will be held to similar standards based upon Intuit’s Tax-offering ecosystem.
Intuit, QuickBooks, and the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program have participated in a sponsoring advisor capacity every year since the inception of the awards. (Insightful Accountant actively monitors the nomination and application process to determine candidate qualification and equivalency and coordinates with Intuit officials and the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program should questions arise.)
