What are Intuit Experts?
We've been asked, "what are 'Intuit Experts?" They are the direct result of what's changing with QuickBooks Live based on announcements made during the June (2026) edition of Intuit Connect On.
During the June edition of Intuit Connect On, Sasan Goodarzi, Intuit's CEP and Board Chairman, recognized the critical role that accountants and their firms play in helping businesses succeed. That affirmation restated that accountants remain at the center of the relationship between Intuit and QuickBooks users when those users have chosen an accountant.
As part of that commitment, Intuit has been evolving QuickBooks Live; now, Intuit Experts will focus on helping new businesses (without a connected accountant) onboard to the QuickBooks platform. Eventually, Intuit plans to build a network where they connect new customers to accounting firms, including new businesses starting on the QuickBooks platform as well as growing businesses that have outgrown Intuit provided services and that are in need of more advisory services.
So, when you hear the nomenclature, "Intuit Experts" it refers to Intuit employees offering a set of key services that are integrated directly into QuickBooks Online subscriptions. These services include Books check-in, Smart Expert categorization, and a combination of the two called Expert Books upkeep.
If a QuickBooks subscriber already has a relationship with you as their accountant, bookkeeper, business consultant or ProAdvisor, they will no longer receive any in-product marketing messages about Intuit Experts or the services they provide. To be more specific, 'banners about Intuit Expert services' will not appear in-product for any accountant-attached QuickBooks users.

For any QuickBooks subscriber with an attached accountant the option for Intuit Expert services is 'turned off' by default.
If you have a QuickBooks subscriber relationship as their accountant, but the subscriber's QuickBooks subscription is direct-billed to them, Intuit will prompt those clients to consult with you before adding any Intuit Expert services.
And, if you have a QuickBooks client with a relationship as their accountant, bookkeeper, business consultant or ProAdvisor, that the related QuickBooks subscription is firm-billed, only your firm can enable/add Intuit Expert services to that QuickBooks subscription for those clients.
So now, when you hear, or see, the term "Intuit Experts" you will have a better understanding the services they provide and when they do, or don't do, so.
