Wednesday's QBTalks-Apps is Intuit's New ProPartner Program

This Wednesday, July 8, 2026, Insightful Accountant is hosting our QBTalks-Apps show at 2:00 PM Eastern and we will be joined by Jaclyn Anku, Intuit's ProPartner Program Leader who will discuss the new Intuit ProPartner Accountant Program

Last May, Jaclyn joined me for QBTalks-Apps to discuss some of the changes that would be incorporated into the new program. For this month's show, we've invited Jaclyn back update us on the new program's formal announcements thus far, and perhaps even get a glimpse into some of the details that will be released this fall, before the new program goes into effect shortly after January 1, 2027.

As you already know, Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS) serves as a focal point for the new ProPartner Program focused on Accounting, Bookkeeping and Consulting firms. Like the new ProPartner Program, IAS will become the new 'standard' replacing QBO-Accountant also early in January 2027.

The new ProPartner Program will focus on ways to empower accountants to build their ideal firm (regardless of firm size), including program benefits, education and community.

Jaclyn will certainly be discussing benefits like enhanced ‘revenue share’ opportunities and ‘dedicated support’. One new feature within Intuit Accountant Suite is something Intuit is calling the ‘resolution center’ that allows you to track all your clients' open support cases. I anticipate Jaclyn will also address new and future educational opportunities like the recently implemented IAS training and Intuit Enterprise Suite certifications.

And since benefit levels are directly tied to program tiers, I am sure Jaclyn will be covering the new tier structure which ranges from ‘Member’ thru ‘Partner,’Preferred Partner,’ ‘Premier Partner’, and ‘Elite Partner’ status, along with benefits that are associated with each tier of the new program.

Based on my current understanding of the ProPartner Program, I anticipate Jaclyn will also focus how your firm can prepare to transition to the new program, including early adoption of Intuit Accountant Suite.

You really don't want to wait to the end of the year to switch from QBO-Accountant to Intuit Accountant Suite; now is the time to implementation Intuit Accountant Suite which will be your centralized point of access to the ProPartner Program. And currently, you can try out the features within IAS Accelerate at no cost, along with the new Books Close feature available to IAS users. Features that will become paid subscriptions in January, 2027 as well.

This is also the time to make certain that your team has at least one member who is QBO-Level 1 certified, because that is a requirement to be recognized as a 'Partner' under the new Program.

This is your opportunity to not only hear about the new ProPartner Program, but to ask questions of the ProPartner team that will be handing the Q&A behind Jaclyn's presentation.
