Today's October 21 QBTalks examines Qvinci's new 'RoyaltyHub'

Today's October 21 QBTalks at 2:00 PM Eastern looks at Qvinci's new "RoyaltyHub" App which fully automates royalty administration.

Qvinci's new RoyaltyHub takes you past manual processes and spreadsheets to automate client royalties. It offers an automated workflow for accountants serving franchise clients to reduce royalty administration, strengthen oversight, and created added visibility that leads to enhanced advisory value.

If your firm handles franchise royalty calculations, billing, and collections follow-up for royalty clients, chances are you've been using spreadsheets to track, compute and prepare the royalty reports you provide for your clients. Don't you think it's about time you provide your clients with something more than a spreadsheet?

As with other accounting practices, the move is toward 'advisory services', and franchise clients are not different, the need, want and deserve a Trusted Advisor who can offer them an automated process giving them accurate, easy to understand results they can trust.

RoyaltyHub by Qvinci will completely redesign how your services are delivered. Instead of compiling multiple spreadsheets to track royalty data and prepare the computations, RoyaltyHub connects to the actual data source(s), performs the calculations, invoices, collects payments and provides enhanced payment visibility.

As the accountant you will review and validate the data, oversee any exceptions that might arise, and then provide your clients with useful Advisory services by meaningfully presenting the results to them. They will be saying, "why haven't we had this level of reporting available all along?" And you will be able to tell them, "You are providing something truly pioneering in the field of royalty reporting."

During this QBTalks, Joe Barbano, Chief Revenue Officer at Qvinci will introduce RoyaltyHub's repeatable workflow that you will use in supporting royalty and fee administration for your clients. QBTalks participants will be exposed to the steps for validating sales inputs and fee rules through invoicing, payment-status review, and exception handling.

Jacob Glowacki, Senior Solution Consultant at Qvinci will provide a practical demonstration of RoyaltyHub focusing on selected workflow capabilities, while distinguishing RoyaltyHub's automation features from the accountant’s responsibilities for review and client Advisory.

"With RoyaltyHub, you will go from spreadsheet tamer to trusted advisor because you have the tools and expertise to truly help your franchise clients. With RoyaltyHub you could very well decide that franchise management may well be the 'niche' opportunity your Accounting firm has been waiting for." (Murph)

QBTalks participants will also see how RoyaltyHub can address the ongoing services they offer to their royalty clients and identify how royalty information can be connected with broader financial performance analytics to expand Advisory opportunities when Qvinci Intelligence is coupled with RoyaltyHub. When you couple Royalty Hub with Qvinci Intelligence you've equipped yourself with the tools that are best suited to bring success to your royalty clients' operations.

But this QBTalks is not just 'show and tell', it's about "real world examples" as well. Brad Adams, the President, CEO & Chairman of Qvinci is offering every participant the opportunity to bring one client's royalty workflow to the webinar. Brad's team will help you identify manual handoffs, assess RoyaltyHub's potential fit, and then they will offer to schedule a follow-up with each participant that submits an example. Rarely do you find an App Developer willing to 'do your homework for you.

About CPE for this Show

This QBTalks offers 1 CPE for successful completion (partial credit is not available). In order to successfully complete this webinar, participants must attend a minimum of 50-minutes of the 60-minute show, and answer at least three (3) CPE polling questions based on any of the learning objectives stated below. (Note: The webinar may pose more than three (3) CPE polling questions; however, a participant need only to answer three (3) of the posed questions to qualify for CPE.)

Learning objectives:

Upon completion participants should be able to:

1. Identify the handoffs in a spreadsheet-based royalty workflow that should be examined for duplication, delay, or error risk.

2. Describe how a connected royalty workflow can support calculation, invoicing, payment collection, and review of balances and payment history.

3. Distinguish software-supported processing from the accountant’s review responsibilities for validating client-approved rules, reviewing source data, managing access, and resolving exceptions.

4. Evaluate whether a client’s data sources, fee structure, billing cadence, accounting setup, and review responsibilities are suitable for a RoyaltyHub implementation.

5. Develop a proposed service scope that separates implementation, recurring royalty administration, exception oversight, and optional performance advisory.

6. Assess the business case using measured staff effort, delivery costs, service revenue, and client outcomes without treating estimated time savings as guaranteed profit.
