"So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye...1"
Insightful Accountant wants to remind you that the "clock is ticking, " ALL QuickBooks Desktop 2022 Products will be 'sunsetting' tomorrow.
Intuit will no longer provide security patches, product updates, or customer support for any QuickBooks Desktop 2022 versions starting June 1, 2025. These products include 2022 Pro-Plus, 2022 Premier-Plus (all versions), QuickBooks 2022 Desktop Accountant, QuickBooks Enterprise (v 22), QuickBooks Enterprise Accountant (v 22), and QuickBooks 2022 Desktop for Mac-Plus .
This means your QuickBooks 2022 financial data, regardless of specific SKU, could be exposed to security vulnerabilities.
Product sunset also means that your 2022 QuickBooks version(s) will no longer be able to use add-in Intuit features, functions, or solutions, including, but not limited to, QuickBooks Desktop Payroll versions, Desktop Payments, or online bank feeds. The following functional areas (listed here in alphabetical order) will likely be impacted and may work properly (or even run at all):
Intuit is also encouraging all 2022 Desktop users to ensure they install the latest Release update available before the scheduled product's end-of-life date, which is tomorrow, May 31, 2025.
While Intuit presently supports subscription renewals for existing 'active' QuickBooks Desktop Plus customers, they are encouraging customers to migrate from Pro-Plus, Premier-Plus, or Mac-Plus to either QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise or an Online version of QuickBooks.
Before Migrating Your Data to Any Other Version, Solution, or Product!!!
Are YOU prepared for the product sunset?
