NetSuite Helps BERO Brew for Success from Day 1

During Tuesday’s opening keynote of SuiteWorld in Las Vegas, Evan Goldberg, founder and EVP of Oracle NetSuite also recognized BERO, a premium, non-alcoholic beer brand co-founded by Tom Holland, the English actor who has played Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2016.

Following a brief introductory video from Tom, his co-founder John Herman, the CEO of the brand joined Evan on the main stage. John had a beverage background and felt challenged to build an inclusive lifestyle brand for all who wanted a robust beer but without the alcohol.

Another emphasis for his start-up team to “not act like a start-up”. Accordingly,  BERO implemented NetSuite cloud before it launched to support its growth plans and manage the complexity of international sales. “From day one, we knew we needed a flexible system that could grow with our business and immediately enable efficiency.” Herman said. “Neha Soi, our Senior Vice President of Operations is a force, and guided us to the smart decision of onboarding NetSuite early, as  knew it would allow us to maintain real-time insight across financial and operational layers that were integral to our business. In addition, NetSuite has helped us automate administrative processes, which allows our team to focus on more strategic value and growth priorities.”

With NetSuite, BERO has been able to scale its business to address changing demands and simplify operations across its distribution network. Bero worked with NetSuite Solution Provider Luxent on its implementation. NetSuite’s AI-powered business management suite has maximized productivity, increase the speed and accuracy of financial reporting, and created a scalable foundation for growth by automating key business processes. For example, NetSuite helps BERO expedite order processing by connecting sales, transportation management system, and order fulfillment workflows.

BERO has its one-year anniversary on October 16 of this year, and has been a NetSuite customer since day 1 of their operation.  and apparently that idea has met with significant success as they now brew four unique beers, sell direct-to-consumers online, and can be found at major retailers including Target, Amazon, Sprouts, Total Wine, and more.

“The non-alcoholic beverage industry has grown rapidly and is becoming increasingly competitive,” said Goldberg. “From the outset, BERO recognized the importance of a strong technology foundation to scale successfully, respond swiftly to market demands, and navigate the complexities of international expansion—and it chose NetSuite. As BERO continues to grow, our unified suite makes it easy to take advantage of the latest cloud and AI innovations to keep up with its evolving needs.”

You typically don’t think of NetSuite for a start-up, but clearly, it can be with the right leadership, the right business focus, and the right implementation team.  So that brings me to the question “why wait to go with NetSuite, when you can start and grow with NetSuite? And, sip a BERO all along the way!”
