Join Me for today's QBTalks-Apps show on 'New Apps for QuickBooks'
Join me today, March 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM Eastern, for this month's QBTalks-Apps Show covering New Apps for QuickBooks. "PS... I don't think my hair is as long now as it was in that picture."
That's right, it's your old friend Murph and I am back this year presenting the "New Apps for QuickBooks" shows. And during this month's show, I will be exploring various Apps in the categories of 'AI', 'Construction', 'Data-utilities', 'eCommerce', and 'Procurement'. While the majority of these Apps are relatively new, some of the others are not really new (so to speak), they were just new to me and seem to be “gaining popularity "as Apps ProAdvisors are using or recommending to, their clients, for a specific need. One or two of them might just be Apps you "want to play with."
I can hardly cover each of these Apps 'in-depth' in less than ten minutes(each) seeing as how I also must cover all the housekeeping tasks that are required for CPE, etc. "After all you do what that free hour of CPE." So, I will discuss key aspects of each of the Apps along with some interesting features and functionalities (a kind of 'Good and Bad' sort of thing). Mostly I will be using screenshots and may reference a short video-clip from the developer that I found beneficial. We might even try a brief demo depending on the particular App and the amount of time I have.
In addition to the pros and cons, I will chat a little about Pricing options and how that compares in some cases from an ROI (return on investment) perspective to alternative apps you might be using already. But what I really want to cover is how these Apps can be used to manage a specific need, situation or problem in either your own practice, or for one of your clients.
With the group of Apps I've selected I think you will see ways you might put some of them to use, one way or another:
-
Simplify your project management and team coordination in-the-office, on-the-go, and in-the field.
-
Streamline your eCommerce accounting when working with multiple online marketplaces to simplify payout posting, taxes and more.
-
Generates AI tailored financial templates for accountants, bookkeepers, consultants and small businesses.
-
Expedite clean-up of unnecessary data, transactions and objects in the QuickBooks accounts you use.
- Simplify your tracking, usage, and spending on various business applications to reduce redundancy, improve efficiency and enhance decision-making.
-
Automate and centralize purchasing, boost your AP workflows, and control spend at the source.
I also plan to discuss 'partnering arrangement(s)' these Apps may provide so you or your firm can benefit from any referrals or other implementations your clients (time again permitting).
