Complex inventory-centric businesses are often encumbered by a multitude of systems to handle their manufacturing, wholesale, eCommerce and other markets.
Many become stymied by one system for inventory, one for manufacturing, still another for finance, and spreadsheets to keep track of all of those. But, DOSS is working to build an adaptive, AI-powered platform that unifies those operating systems and the financial data.
Intuit Ventures has announced they are investing in DOSS and their 'Operations Cloud' by participating in their Series B financing along with Madrona, Premji Invest, Theory Ventures, General Catalyst, Commerce Ventures and other venture capital investors. Intuit Ventures invests in world-class startups that are powering prosperity for consumers and businesses.
In their press announcement regarding the investment, Intuit said, "DOSS's approach underscores our (Intuit's) fundamental belief that companies must have well-structured data to get the most out of AI. This is true at the SMB level but particularly at the mid-market level where scaling companies experience increasing complexity.' The Intuit announcement went on to say, "We're excited to continue exploring how DOSS and Intuit Enterprise Suite can support our joint customers."
Insightful Accountant will strive to bring you updates on exactly how Intuit is accomplishing that task of exploring ways they can support Intuit Enterprise Suite customers through DOSS, as that news becomes available.
