Intuit Bookkeeping Certification - What do you think of it?

Insightful Accountant wants to know what you think about the Intuit Bookkeeping Certification being offered within both the ProAdvisor Academy and the Intuit Academy (focused on Tax). Do you like it? Did you test out of it? Have you ignored it?

We here at Insightful Accountant are always interested in the opinions and experiences of the ProAdvisor community, especially when it comes to training and certification offerings made available by Intuit. Late last year, Intuit introduced the new 'Intuit ProAdvisor Client Advisory Services Foundations' training pathway toward 'Graduate' status.

PA_CAS Graduate BadgeThe longest single course within the pathway to achieving this status is the Intuit Bookkeeping Certification that provides 28.5 hours in accounting fundamentals including recording (transactions), reconciling, and producing financial statements. It also covers analysis of those financial reports to help drive better business decisions. Remember this is one step in the pathway leading to 'Client Advisory Services' Graduate status.

This course offers an option to 'test-out' or to go through the self-paced training curriculum and the related examinations along the way.

As I said earlier, we here at Insightful Accountant want to know what you think about the Intuit Bookkeeping Certification:

  • Do you like Intuit offering a ProAdvisor training option for 'Bookkeeping Certification'?
  • Did you test-out of the Bookkeeping course and get certified?
  • Are you currently going through the 28-hour 'Bookkeeper' training?
  • Have you passed the training exams and earned the certification?
  • What did you think of the actual bookkeeping course content?
  • Do you plan on earning Client Advisory Services 'Graduate' status?
  • Have you already earned Client Advisory Services 'Graduate' status?
  • Have you ignored it?
