2027 International Advisor Award Requirements

No, it isn't Tuesday... that's why this is a 'special edition' to outline the 2027 Top International Advisor Awards' Minimum Requirements.

2027 Top International ProAdvisor Awards

As we are approaching the 'launch' of the 2027 Top Advisor Awards, and I've written two or three articles about the Awards (in general) over the past few weeks on Tuesdays, we've had some inquiries from the International ProAdvisor community about the 'International Awards' we will recognize for 2027, and the minimum requirements to participate in the awards program.

There are three requirements for all International Participants:

 - You must reside outside the United States, or its territories,

 - You must have an active QuickBooks Client Practice, and

 - You must have a current QuickBooks Certification.

International Applicant Qualification - Active Client Practice

To be considered for these awards, all applicants must actively practice as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor/Professional with one or more actual clients using a version of QuickBooks available within the geographical area of your practice.

Regardless of their country of residence, or practice, they must have an 'active QuickBooks practice' involving one (1) or more clients using QuickBooks (Online). QuickBooks versions from Intuit Region and Country, the QuickBooks 'Global' version is available in many locations where country versions are not available. All such versions are acceptable for this question. Below you will see how the Active Client Practice question appears on Page 3 of the 2027 International Awards Application Form.

This is a Qualifying Question: You must answer this question to prevent being disqualified. To prevent being disqualified, if you cannot answer this question, use the Application Form's Save and Continue option to exit this application, return only when you can provide the required information.

International Applicant Qualification – Current Certification

To be considered for these awards, regardless of their country of residence, or practice, International Applicants must hold Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification* for their country, another country within their Intuit Region, or issued by the Intuit Region (including 'Global' region), or have a formal ProAdvisor Certification from any country where Intuit issues actual QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification outside the United States.

For 2027, we recognize QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor, or QuickBooks Online (Global) Accountant certifications, appropriate to your Intuit Country or Region. We also recognize that Intuit has been, and is, changing nomenclature; therefore, if your certification reads QuickBooks Online Level 1, select QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor; if your certification reads QuickBooks Online Level 2, select QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor.

You’ve will also need to report the issuing Intuit Country or Region of your certification; if you are uncertain, select ‘Global’.

You must report a current certification date (the last date you were certified, or re-certified), and that date must NOT be prior to 11/1/2025. We know that some countries may not issue ‘recertification dates’ and that your re-certification certificate may have your original (earlier) date of certification; regardless, please report the most current date.

Below is how the Current Certification related questions appear on Page 4 of the 2027 International Awards Application Form.

You must also validate your certification by uploading an image of your reported certification. Most image formats (jpg, gif, bmp, png, or pdf) are acceptable formats for upload.

These are both Qualifying Questions: You must answer both questions to prevent being disqualified. To prevent being disqualified, if you cannot provide your certification date or upload a copy of your certification, use the application form's Save and Continue option to exit this application, return when you can provide the required certification information and upload a valid copy of your certificate.
