We Think the Application Problem is Fixed

Written by William Murphy | Jan 27, 2026 5:45:00 AM

That's right, we think we've resolved all the validation issues with the U.S. and International Top Advisor Award Applications created when Zoho made updates to 'validation routines' in Zoho Survey. But, if you have Application Problems, please reach out to Murph directly. But be patient for his reply because he is at Acumatica.

Murph has gone through almost every routine that requires a specific number of rows, or columns for answers, or specific quantities (such as hours), or specific dates, to ensure that the validation routines are consistent with the changes Zoho recently made to Zoho Survey which, changed the 'validation' methodology' that serves as the control for many of the questions found in the U.S. Application and International Application forms.

He thinks that he has all of the validation routines fixed, but you could still find that when you go back to input extra content, or complete your Application, after having used 'Save & Continue' you could find that the survey is taking you back to a prior page, and validation is telling you something is wrong with a prior question you answered.

You might also find that you try to answer a question and proceed to the next page and validation prevents you from either continuing or even 'Saving and Continuing.'

It's always possible Murph missed something... after all he is "older than dirt" and things just don't always 'stick in his mushy mind' like they should.  So, if you encounter a problem, please reach out to Murph directly at whm@rrrltd.org. When you send Murph your email, try to send a screen capture of the problem(s) you are encountering. Question #s don't work because each Applicant's question sequence can be different or in some cases randomized. And as they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words."

Murph will do his best to get back to you with either follow-up questions or a 'should be fixed now' response, as soon as possible, but just realize he is on 'interview' duty this week with Acumatica executive, team managers and Acumatica customers, so it might take him longer than it takes to otherwise say, "Beam me up, Scotty."
