Tomorrow's 9/2/28 QBTalks-Apps: Examines Intuit's Professional Tax Products

 September’s QBTalks-Apps show, at 2:00 PM Eastern on 9/2/26 will take a look at Intuit's three professional tax products: ProConnect, ProSeries and Lacerte. 

With that increase in tax return preparation and complexity, you might need to consider different professional tax preparation software. Insightful Accountant’s Dr. Christine Gervais, Sr. Editor of Tax Practice News, and Brady Suggs of Intuit's Professional Tax Products group, will be joining Murph tomorrow to examine Intuit's to tax preparation software for professionals.

While ProConnect is Intuit’s cloud-based tax software for accountants, ProSeries is a desktop tax software for small to mid-sized firms that support individuals and small businesses. Intuit's Lacerte Tax is a desktop tax software best suited for larger accounting firms preparing complex returns.

If you are supporting QuickBooks Online clients, you should think about ProConnect tax with connectivity to QuickBooks Online Accountant and the new Intuit Accountant Suite. In fact, ProConnect tax will soon be ‘integrated’ directly inside Intuit Accountant Suite for IAS users. In fact, Insightful Accountant will be premiering the new IAS ProConnect integration in another QBTalks show later this fall. 

ProSeries and Lacerte provide various integration methods if you are supporting QuickBooks clients.

You could easily spend three hours getting a sales pitch on each of these tax offerings before learning which one is right for you; however, by the end of tomorrow's QBTalks-Apps show you should have a clear picture of the best solution for your practice situation.
