We've previously forewarned you that Intuit would sunset all 2023 Desktop QuickBooks products on May 31, 2026, but we wanted to remind Desktop ProAdvisors.
If you are a QuickBooks 'Desktop' ProAdvisor who is using the 2023 version of QuickBooks Desktop Accountant or QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Accountant to support your QuickBooks clients with 2023 (or 2022) QuickBooks Desktop software files (Pro, Premier or Enterprise) you need to be aware that Intuit is discontinuing support for your 'Accountant' products as of May 31, 2026.
After that date, you will likely have little or no access to Customer Support and included services, even under any related QuickBooks Care Protection Plan. You will also not have access to Desktop Payroll Services (no tax, forms or other payroll updates)support. You likely will have little, limited or no access to 'online banking,' 'credit-card and ACH processing,' 'multi-currency/exchange rate updating,' 'contributed reports,' or 'Accountant File Copy transfer services.'
If have not purchased, or subscribed to, a 2024 QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise ProAdvisor Bundle, you can still do so. See your options below.

This sunset date does not impact any of your (or your clients') QuickBooks Online versions or related services, including your QuickBooks Online-Accountant subscription(s). However, if you are not already, be aware that Intuit plans to start migrating current QuickBooks Online-Accountant subscriptions to the new 'Intuit Accountant Suite' product after June 30, 2026. QuickBooks Online-Accountant will be sunset by not later than December 31, 2026.
