Intuit just announced that it is joining Meta’s Muse for Small Business, where QuickBooks will be included as a launch partner. Muse for Small Business will offer customers a new set of skills and connectors allowing users to connect to the tools that their business already runs on.
Through Muse’s QuickBooks connector, QuickBooks customers will be able to ask Muse to help with select financial workflows to help them manage invoices, get paid, and get critical insights on their business performance. An owner can simply ask, "Create invoices for my approval for all jobs completed this week, then summarize my cash flow," and Muse pulls from their QuickBooks data to show what came in, what went out and what might need a closer look. Other key tools allow businesses to:
-
Understand their performance — review profit and loss as well as cash flow for any period
-
Know where they stand — check their balance sheet and compare against industry peers
-
Grow their sales — see which customers and products drive the most revenue
-
Get paid faster — create and send payment-enabled invoices directly to customers
-
Improve cash flow — track overdue invoices and send payment reminders
More than 3 in 4 U.S. small and midsize businesses already use AI regularly. What owners want now is AI that helps them get work done and provides actionable insights, not more advice. Conversational AI agents like Muse serve as an intuitive entry point for businesses to start addressing this, helping them discover the right tools and expertise. As more complex financial needs arise, Muse connects customers directly to QuickBooks’ industry-leading AI-powered financial intelligence platform, enabling seamless execution backed by Intuit’s decades of trusted financial data, domain expertise, and robust security and compliance.
This latest integration builds on Intuit’s recent AI integrations with tools like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Perplexity, empowering small businesses to leverage the power of QuickBooks wherever they get work done. In a challenging macroeconomic environment where time and resources are tight, this partnership expands the AI toolkit available to QuickBooks customers to help drive their success.
