Here is another great reason why you need to be migrating from QuickBooks Online-Accountant to Intuit Accountant Suite.

Even though the Intuit ProPartner program doesn’t officially replace the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program until January 2027, firms using Intuit Accountant Suite will be able to preview their projected Intuit ProPartner membership tier within the next few weeks. These projections will be based on firm activity from August 2025 through July 2026.

As you can see above, there is a total of 5 ProPartner tiers: Members, Partners, Preferred Partners, Premier Partners, and Elite Partners. Anyone signed up for Intuit Accountant Suite is recognized as a ProPartner ‘Member’; however, in order to quality for ‘Partner’ status, at least one member of your firm’s team must have an active QuickBooks Online Level 1, QuickBooks Workforce, or Intuit Enterprise Suite ‘certification.’

Firms earn the ProPartner benefit levels by deepening their engagement with Intuit1. Firms will derive points based on (in part) the total revenues they are generating when clients are using Intuit products. Firms also earn points for the various ProPartner certifications that firm members hold.

Knowing your projected membership tier status by September 1st means that you and your firm have plenty of opportunities to work on things like expanding product offerings to your clients, and enhancing your certifications (QuickBooks Online Level 2, and Intuit Enterprise Suite, for example) that can bolster your tier status when the Intuit ProPartner Program takes over from the retiring QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program. You can also learn more about how to earn a higher tier before the actual January 2027 program launch HERE

So, if you've been needing another reason as to why you should go ahead a migrate from QuickBooks Online-Accountant to Intuit Accountant Suite, now you have one!
