If you are currently an 'Applicant' for the 2026 Top Advisor Awards, a 'Nominee' who has been nominated by someone else but who has not yet started their formal application, or if you are an Advisor asking yourself if you should apply, this article is for you.
Whether you are a seasoned veteran of Insightful Accountant's award process, or you are a first-timer, we want to take this opportunity to remind you that Applicants are NOT required to complete their formal applications in a single setting. You have the option to "Come and Go" once you have completed 'Page 1 Basic Information', like confirming your residency (U.S. for U.S. Applicants, Rest-of-the-world for International Applicants).
Yes, both the U.S. and International Application forms feature the "Save and Continue (Later)" option. When you have provided things like your name, title, address, email, # of Years as an Advisor, and # of years in the business, you can proceed on to the 2nd page. From that point on, the option to "come and go" becomes available.
Use this option to "come and go from the form" after you complete your contact information. This way, you can add new training, certifications, changes in your practice dynamics, incorporate new Apps you start to use or refer to, etc.
The 'Save and Continue' option allows you to return to your application as many times as you wish or require before finally submitting the form.
We suggest you write down the page number and question title you skip so you can easily find all questions that require additional attention.
We recommend that you ALWAYS use the Save and Continue option.
Do not 'Close' the form using the X in the browser window.
When you use the Save and Continue option to exit the form, you will receive an email providing YOU with a unique URL link to YOUR form. Please keep this email to provide additional information when you have 'new' information to report (like new certifications, new training hours, new CPE certificates, new conference or workshop attendance, etc.)
Retain the email to provide additional information when you have new information to report (like new certifications, training hours, CPE certificates, conference or workshop attendance, etc.).
Your unique URL link should return you to the last completed page from where you left the application; however, you may use the previous page button at the bottom of any page to return to earlier pages.
Be aware that if you return to the form and go back to previous pages and answer questions differently or questions you might not have answered, you could turn on additional pages related to sections for which you otherwise did not qualify before making such changes.
Only 'Submit' the form once you have answered every question applicable to your Advisor Practice. You will NOT be able to modify an application form once you have actually submitted it.
Applicants can complete their formal application on a come-and-go basis, until the Application close date of March 17*, 2026.
About Insightful Accountant's Top Advisor Awards
Since its inception, Insightful Accountant has been the official awarding entity and administrator for the ProAdvisor Awards Program, which recognizes the best QuickBooks ProAdvisors worldwide.
With the 2026 incorporation of the Top Tax Advisors (who are not required to be ProAdvisors) into the overall awards program, the program is now referred to as the "Top Advisor Awards" since not all recipients may hold the title of ProAdvisor.
Applicants for these prestigious programs are ranked based on their performance across various criteria, measuring everything from QuickBooks knowledge to utilizing the best tools & partner apps within the QuickBooks ecosystem that contribute to solid practice growth. Tax Advisors will be held to similar standards based upon Intuit's Tax-offering ecosystem.
In cooperation, Intuit, QuickBooks, and the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program have participated in a sponsoring advisor capacity every year since the inception of the awards. (Insightful Accountant actively monitors the nomination and application process to determine candidate qualification and equivalency and coordinates with Intuit officials and the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program should questions arise.)
2026 Award Program Sponsors
Sponsors are the lifeblood of these awards; without sponsors, the Top Advisor Awards would not be possible. We want to thank each of our 2026 Award Sponsors.
