Expensify Launches DualEntry Native-integration
On Monday, September 28, 2026, Expensify launches a native-integration with DualEntry, an AI-native ERP built for Mid-market companies. The new two-way integration syncs expenses, corporate card spend and reimbursements directly into DualEntry.
DualEntry is an AI-native ERP built for modern finance teams. It brings your entire finance operation into one platform, including general ledger, AP, AR, revenue recognition, multi-entity consolidation, reporting, budgeting, and more, while AI automates the accounting work behind the scenes.
With NextDay Migration, companies can move their full historical financial data from systems like NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, and SAP into DualEntry in just 24 hours, down to the transaction and attachment level. DualEntry gives growing companies the power of a full ERP without the cost, complexity, and months-long implementation of legacy systems.
You can read more about this integration in The ERP Update. Note: While access to the story is free, it does require new or prior registration.
Sage Partners with Loud Numbers to launch "The Financial Symphony"
Accounting runs on the ability to justify every number. According to recent IDC Research, 71% of finance leaders reject AI decisions they cannot explain, and finance teams are spending up to 13 hours a week manually reconstructing and validating AI outputs.
To make that challenge tangible, Sage has partnered with data sonification studio Loud Numbers to launch The Financial Symphony — a musical performance developed entirely from real, anonymized accounting and financial data. The music is entirely human composed: data points were translated into musical elements using a documented sonification methodology, then arranged and performed live by a string quartet alongside an electronic layer.
The result is a creative expression of what Sage calls "Glass Box" AI — where every output is verifiable and the reasoning behind a result can be traced, rather than hidden in a black box. You can immerse yourself in The Financial Symphony HERE.
Opensity Solutions Relocates to NYC 's Midtown Manhattan Area
On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, Opensity Solutions announced that it is relocating its New York office to 1350 Avenue of the Americas, in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. The move sharpens the company’s established presence in the city, putting its team in closer reach of the corporations, law firms, investment banks and accounting firms that anchor its client base.
Opensity Solutions is the largest tech‑enabled managed services provider serving leading corporations, law firms, financial institutions and professional services firms. Opensity provides integrated operational platforms, automation and advisory services that enable clients to modernize operating models, reduce cost and accelerate growth. Their capabilities include IT and technology solutions, document processing and administrative support, marketing and communications, billing and AP/AR services, records and information governance, workflow automation, consulting and hospitality and facilities services.
A significant share of Opensity Solutions’ clients are headquartered or maintain a major presence in New York. That concentration has driven the company’s strategy in the market for years, and the new Midtown office marks the next chapter in that commitment, placing the team directly alongside the organizations it serves.
“Our Midtown office is a significant extension of our firm’s commitment to this market,” says Michelle Deichmeister, CEO of Opensity Solutions. “This expansion strengthens the relationships we’ve built and creates room to forge new ones, sharpening our ability to deliver solutions that are attuned and built around what our clients actually need. Positioned alongside the region’s top corporations, law firms and financial institutions, our team is ready to help clients cut through complexity and move at the pace this market demands.”
The move further strengthens Opensity Solutions’ ability to deliver end-to-end business services outsourcing from inside one of the world’s most important business hubs. Opensity Solutions operates on a global scale, with clients and delivery capabilities that span markets around the world. Few cities, however, concentrate as much decision-making power across law, finance and corporate leadership as New York does. Having a direct presence here means clients get faster, closer access to a global partner built to manage complex operations, freeing internal teams to focus on the work that drives their business forward.
Cygna Expands Autonomous Tugger Adoption with Fortune 100 Heavy Equipment Manufacturer
Cyngn announced earlier this week an order, expanding an existing customer relationship, for its DriveMod Tugger from a Fortune 100 heavy equipment manufacturer. The additional deployment will support a new material-handling application at the customer's heavy equipment manufacturing facility.
Cyngn is withholding the manufacturer's name for competitive reasons, including the potential disclosure of commercially sensitive information regarding the manufacturer's operational efficiency and automation strategy.
Cyngn develops and deploys autonomous vehicle technology for industrial organizations like manufacturers and logistics companies. Cyngn's DriveMod technology empowers customers to seamlessly bring self-driving technology to their operations without high upfront costs or infrastructure installations. The DriveMod Tugger hauls up to 12,000 lbs, travels inside and out, and targets a typical payback period of less than 2 years.
"For large manufacturers, repetitive material movement can create costs that extend beyond the labor required to move materials. Parts must arrive wherever they are needed, whenever they are needed, without disrupting production. Automating these movements can help facilities reduce logistics costs, improve material flow, and free employees to focus on other responsibilities," said Lior Tal, CEO of Cyngn.
Once a manufacturer has introduced autonomous vehicles into its operations, additional applications can be evaluated using the experience, infrastructure, and operational knowledge established through earlier deployments. This approach is central to Cyngn's commercial strategy: helping manufacturers identify a practical starting point for automation, establish its value, and expand into additional workflows and facilities as their needs evolve.
Manufacturers interested in exploring a similar approach can begin by identifying a repetitive material-handling route that may be suitable for automation. Cyngn's EasyLaunch program is designed to help companies automate a defined workflow, measure its value, and expand when the application makes economic sense.
