For this webinar, Murph has identified and evaluated six (6) Backup Apps for QuickBooks Online. Of these six, only one can currently be found in the QuickBooks Online (US) App Store. He has identified thirty-eight features and functions covering core backup functionality, backup file retention and off-boarding, recovery capabilities, data protection capabilities, and security and compliance standards. Each of the six apps has been analyzed to determine what they offer in the way of these functions. Presently, forty (40) objects, including lists, transactions, and other data objects, can be backed up from QuickBooks Online files. Murph has gleaned each of these apps for its ability to capture and restore these objects. You may think they all back up everything, but guess what? They don’t! Murph has also applied his nine (9) App Comparison criteria, which work with any app, to create composite scores by which each app can be ranked.
