Xero Update

Xero recently held its US Roadshow (multiple cities across the US) and its annual Xerocon conference in Brisbane, Australia during which they made several announcements and product updates.   The key announcements were:

• A major leap forward in AI-powered accounting with the next evolution and features of JAX (Just Ask Xero)—its financial AI Superagent designed to automate workflows, deliver real-time insights and adapt to how each small business operates. 
• A collaboration with OpenAI, further aligning the company’s product roadmap with AI vision.

  • Unified Experience - JAX replaces scattered tools with one smart interface that learns and adapts to each business’s workflow.

  • Automated Workflows - AI Superagent handles routine tasks like reconciliations and data entry—saving time while keeping businesses compliant.

  • Actionable Insights - JAX delivers proactive suggestions and a unified view of business data, powered by Xero and OpenAI, to support smarter decisions.

  • Trusted Partnership - Built on Xero’s accounting expertise and privacy-first design, JAX uses a system to ensure accuracy and reliability—acting like a dedicated financial team.
