Recently, Intuit announced they were sunsetting their long-established Trainer/Writer Network (TWN) within the United States, which has traditionally been the source of much of the QuickBooks training available to the accounting and ProAdvisor community. For example, many of Intuit's (QuickBooks) training and certification instruction PDF documents were written and edited by Trainer/Writer Network members.
Reportedly, network members had provided feedback recently that they didn't feel like the program was as relevant as it had been and wasn't evolving to meet the community's needs.
Intuit believes that 'training' has evolved and needs to evolve, so they are going "back to the drawing board" regarding how to engage with the community in new and different ways.

Regardless of how Intuit's training may evolve, Insightful Accountant wants to acknowledge that we believe the Trainer/Writer Network has led the way for much of the QuickBooks-related education available to the accounting and ProAdvisor community. We here at Insightful Accountant want to thank every Trainer/Writer Network member for their dedication and hard work in providing hours of training content via printed matter, educational webinars, virtual conferences, and testing development.

Further, we want you to know that just because Intuit has sunset the Trainer/Writer Network doesn't mean Insightful Accountant will abandon the 'Author/Educator' award category for our Top 100 ProAdvisors.
Accordingly, we will evolve our 2025 Top 100 Application form's 'Educator/Author' category to measure new formats and sources for training and writing in lieu of the historical emphasis on TWN-related activities.
We firmly believe ProAdvisor education is essential to the community, and without you, the Trainer/Writer Network members of past and present, many of us could not call ourselves "ProAdvisors."
