Intuit has issued an official notification earlier today that they will be updating pricing for several QuickBooks Desktop products and services beginning October 1, 2026.
The changes apply to Intuit product customers with renewal dates on or after the effective date (listed for each product group in the summarized tables below).
Even though in 2024, Intuit discontinued selling new subscriptions of QuickBooks Desktop Plus products they have continued to support renewals for current subscribers of Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus, Mac Plus, and Enhanced Payroll. The pricing update impacts those current subscribers of QuickBooks Desktop (Pro, Mac and Premier) Plus, Desktop Accountant (including ProAdvisor Bundles), and most Desktop Payroll subscriptions will see annual price increases for renewals in October 2026 or later. Legacy Enhanced Payroll products have a later price change effective date of December 1, 2026.
