It is so easy to get busy with the various tax forms that are coming due, W-2s and 1099s, and such. Then the next thing you know, you are dealing with corporate tax returns or extensions, and oops, you've forgotten to complete your Top Advisor Application for 2026.
There is still plenty of opportunity to make the 2026 Top Advisor Awards, if you 'apply.' But, there is 'no way' to make the Top Advisor Award lists for 2026 if YOU let the deadline slip by without your application being on file.
If you are a QuickBooks ProAdvisor residing in the United States (or one of its territories), and you have current certification(s) as a U.S. ProAdvisor and also have clients you work for (under your own practice, as part of a firm, or even as a contractor for Intuit), you meet the minimum criteria to apply.
The ProAdvisor Awards are merit-based, and your application tells us about what you've done to achieve against the various standards developed for each category of the awards. The application is the tool that measures you against the 'Professional Stature,' 'Practice Performance,' 'Training,' 'Certifications,' and 'App Engagement' standards that have been established by Insightful Accountant.
The awards require significant work, education, and professional affiliations. But you've already done a lot of work earning ProAdvisor certifications, taking extra training, attending webinars and conferences, and building a practice, even if you are part of a firm. Your clients are an important part of what we measure; that's why we ask you to tell us the number and type of clients for the product(s) you support. And, because apps and 3rd-party software solutions are an ever-growing part of most practices, we evaluate your standing against the Intuit QuickBooks App Ecosystem.
So, don't get left out in the cold. Go ahead and apply today.
